Stay Swole. Stay Smart. Stay in the Navy. Get educated now or get educated at Captain's Mast later. Weather you're cutting, bulking, or just trying to stay awake through watch, the wrong supplement can end your carrer faster than it kicks in. Don't guess. Don't trust TikTok. Definitely don't trust that guy in the gym with a mustache and no rank.

How the DoD Banned Substance List Works - And How Our Site Helps You Stay Safe
Legal In Store Does Not Mean Legal In Uniform
Many service members make the honest mistake of assuming that if a supplement is sold at GNC, Walmart, or online, it must be safe to use.
But the military operates under a different standard- guided by the DoD Prohibited Substance List and UCMJ Article 112a. Some products sold over the counter may:
- Contain banned substances
- Use misleading labels or prohormone analogs
- Be legal for civilians but still trigger a positive urinalysis or lead to administrative action for military personnel.
How Do You Know What's Safe?
That's the exact reason we built this website - to help you avoid what others had to learn the hard way. On this site, you'll find:
- A curated list of safe, military-conscious supplements
- An educational guide on how to read labels and spot red flags
- Direct access to OPSS.ORG, an official supplement safety tool
- Resources for commands, leaders, and Sailors who want to avoid career-ending mistakes
The Risk of "Research Brands"
Brands like Vintage Muscle and countless others in the "hardcore supplement" world market products the look legal- and are legal - but can still get you separated. These companies sell:
- Prohormones
- SARMs
- Anabolic analogs labeled as legal supplements
These substances may not be scheduled by the FDA, but they're still explicitly banned by the military, and using them can:
- Violate Article 112a of the UCMJ
- Risk a bad conduct or other-than-honorable discharge
- Destroy your future VA benefits, GI Bill, or civilian career path
Most service members aren't trying to break the rules - they're trying to perform better. This site exists to help them do that without risking everything.
We Offer Support and Safe Alternatives
We've created a line of supplements designed for military use, and we've also made it easy to:
- Compare your current stack against known banned substances
- Understand which ingredients are risky - even if they look "legal"
- Get support if you're unsure, worried, or already facing consequences
Whether you're a junior sailor just starting out, a leader trying to educate your division, or a service member trying to rebuild after a mistake - you're not alone, and this site was built for you.
